The third edition of the West Africa Faith Believers’ Convention kicked off at the Covenant Place tonight, Friday 23rd 2015. This year’s theme Imparting the Faith for the Next Generation.
In his opening remarks the Senior Pastor of Covenant Christian Centre and Convener of WAFBEC, Pastor ‘Poju Oyemade remarked that this was a meeting that had been eagerly awaited for a year. He went further to say, ‘We firmly believe this is going to be a week of experiencing the pure manifestations of the Holy Ghost.’
Before calling on the speaker for the night, he introduced other guest ministers already in attendance. This included Rev Iyang Okutiyang, Pastor Tokunbo Adejumo and Pastor Matt Beemer.
Pastor Oyemade explained the format of the convention would be morning sessions teachings on faith, afternoon sessions school of ministry and night meetings Holy Ghost services. Shortly afterwards he introduced Pastor Mark and Trina Hankins to take the service.
