The feast is prepared for the meeting, and the table is ready, as Pastor Poju welcomes the congregation.
He shared with the nature of this year’s event. While preparing the minds of the people, he told them that God had instructed him, six months ago, to invite Bishop Wale Oke to open WAFBEC 2019.
He explained in clear terms the reason why the church hosts WAFBEC.
He shared, using Rom. 1: 11, 1 Thes. 2:17-18, that the reason is for God to impart spiritual gifts (which is grace) to the participants.
To further explain this, he read 1 Tim 4:14, saying that it is through prophetic utterances that God does the supernatural in the lives of people.
He told the story of a youth who got a miracle at WAFBEC some years ago, and referenced it to a prophetic utterance he received.
Here was the definition he gave, “Prophetic utterance is the medium through which the Holy Spirit reverse certain things in the lives of people.”
He stressed the importance of prophecy and the man God uses, and admonished the congregation not to take the WAFBEC meetings for granted. 1 Thes. 5:19-20
Finally, he urged everyone present that evening to thank God in their hearts as they connect to the supernatural that will manifest tonight.
