Bishop Keith Butler was the first minister for Day 6 at WAFBEC. He began his session this morning by reminding the people about God’s instruction at this conference.
He said, using II Pet 1:12-13 and Rom. 12:11, he reminded the congregation of the need to be established on basic truths. According to him, “God wants us to be established and stirred up again”.
While his topic was titled, “The Power Plant”, he mentioned four requirements, which are;
The way to bring to pass or manifest your desires on the earth is through the power of planting. The first thing you need is Seed.
He read I Pet 1:23 to establish that the seed is the word of God. “The Word of God can give you life, which is Zoe. This is God’s desire for you in heaven”, he said.
Apart from the seed (God’s word), he mentioned that you require a soil for planting.
He referenced Matt 12:35 – 37, to explain that the soil is the heart. He taught that the process of planting into the soil, which is your heart, is by what you listen to (the ears), and what you watch (the eyes).
He said that it is possible to hear the word (the seed) and not receive it – Matt 13:19. “It’s not enough to hear and feel good about what you hear, you have to receive it”.
“You also need water”, he continued. According to him, “You water the seed by praising God, and that’s the action part in the faith process”.
You also need time, in other words, Patience. “Patience is not endurance. It is cheerful endurance – Hmmmm!
“So you have to keep praising God while you wait for the harvest. Praise is what allows the power plant to continue its work. Some things require much force. You might have to stay longer for some things you’re believing for. The more time it takes, the more joy you need”, he buttressed the need for time and manifestation.
In closing, he encouraged the congregation by saying, “What we do between planting and harvesting is praising, rejoicing, speaking God’s Word. You need to say ‘I got it’, you dance & shout like it’s so. That’s what you do concerning your healing, the money you need, or whatever miracle you are believing for”.
