The opening session for tonight was graced by Dr Bill Winston. As the Founder and Senior Pastor of Living Word Christian Center (LWCC) he loves to expound God’s word which stirs up faith in the lives of believers.
That evening, he continued his teaching on the faith that takes, and possessing your inheritance.
His first scripture was taken from the book of Mark 11:1, explaining that the things Jesus did on earth, was by speaking words.
According to him, “Adam was meant to continue bringing to earth whatever he sees in heaven.
He read Genesis 5: 21 and Jude 1:14, explaining how Enoch (the 7th from Adam) saw the Lord returning to the earth with 10 thousand saints and he was “not” (just as the Bible puts it).
“With God there is no time. Everything that is going to happen already is”’ he further explained.
God puts time in the earth for man to manage the time, meaning man wasn’t the prisoner to time, he was a boss to it, he didn’t have to wait on time for him to get the result for something, he could just speak to see it manifested.
He didn’t have to wait for months in whatever the situation it may be, he just spoke it and it happened.
“Everything God did, he spoke it within 24 hours, and so, as a believer, you don’t have to wait on time”, he said while also adding that waiting on pay cheque can be seen as the falling nature of man, because the church has been redeemed.
Here are some examples he shared – men of God from the bible who defied time;
“When you walk by faith, you dominate time. It is what faith declares that time obeys”, said Dr. Bill Winston.
He continued by saying that God wants us to live by the spirit; and there is no boundaries in the spirit, when God tells you something, he is not telling you something based on what he is expects you to do. He is telling you something based on what he expects you to believe that he can do. Matthew 9: 27
He quoted Rom 4: 13 saying that everything we need has been given to us. “Just the same way Jesus had a right to the new unused colt or donkey, you too, can tell the world to untie your coat”, he exclaimed.He closed with the story of Syrophoenician woman – Matthew 15: 21-28.
The woman was a Greek, and it wasn’t her time. However, she used her faith and brought the future into the now. “When you don’t walk by faith, you walk in time, and once you get in time you are in a vulnerable situation with the devil”, he said.
“But if you have dominion over time you can tell time what to do”’ he added.
Just like the Syrophoenician woman, who used Revelation knowledge from God to get the healing her child needed without waiting, you are also one revelation away from your miracle” said Dr. Bill Winston.
