WAFBEC 2019 (DAY 3) Evening Session 2 with Dr. Cindy Trimm

Tonight at WAFBEC, we had, for the third time, Dr Cindy Trimm. Her topic was “What’s Your Assignment?”

First, she encouraged everyone to always respond positively to the revelation they get during the sessions.

“I sense favour. The supernatural power of God is here. Greatness is your portion. This year, you’re going to be fruitful. I see elevation. I see business being birth. Industry leaders are being birth. I see promotion.”

After making the above declarations, she began her teaching with Matt 6:9 – 10. She spoke about God’s kingdom which is God’s rule through man on the earth.

She also read from Matt 13:26-30 while teaching on fruitfulness.

“When God plants you in any industry, your success shouldn’t be less or inferior. He wants you to be the best in that field. Daniel and the three Hebrew Boys were 10 times better. They don’t hire you as a Christian. They hire you as a professional. God is raising visionary leaders and he is going to give you the strategy. He wants you to set the precedence”, she said.

Still on the parable of the Kingdom, she said that the kingdom of heaven is a lifestyle, a paradigm.

“If you understand the kingdom, then you know that there’s no secular occupation. Wherever God plants you. You must serve as unto the Lord”, she added, and also cited an example which was Daniel in Dan 6:3.

She used Ps. 1:1-3 to say that God plants you as a seed, but eventually, you become a tree, fully mature.

She also used Luke 2:52. “You grow in wisdom, in status, and in favor with God & man” she said.

She spoke in Ezek. 47 about different levels of water. That is, the ‘Ankle’ means flexibility in movement, ‘Knee’ the ability to bend and ‘Waist’ is productivity. She prophesied while making these comparisons.

She admonished the people to never mistake pain or discomfort while trying to birth their vision, as a demonic attack. “It’s actually heaven’s contraction” said Dr. Cindy.

She further explained that Fruitfulness is the first law of success and prosperity. Gen 1:28. “God has planted you in this world as a seed”, she said.

“It is the same field that God plants you that the enemy also plants his tares. You are meant to represent God and bring light to your field” She said using Matt 13:36 – 39.

Then she asked the congregation, “What field has God planted you, and what’s your assignment in that field?’ “God gets legal access into this world through man. An agent of change is a human being” she added.

“Why will God go as far as using someone like Cyrus who doesn’t even know Him?” She believes it’s either because we’re not listening or we pray but expect God to use others.

“Why not you? What if God use you to answer your prayers?”, she asked a second time.

She used Ruth, Esther, Joseph, Daniel, Esther, Jacob, and Joshua to explain that God is raising marketplace leaders and positioning them strategically, to bring heaven on earth.

“Paul, Peter, Jacob, Hannah, Joel, David, Daniel, etc., all felt one form of pain or the other and they birthed great things. Haman was the tare in the time of Esther.” said Dr. Cindy.

She said that when God plants you in a place, your fruitfulness begins to come forth when you understand your assignment.

“Always ask God the night before what is your assignment for the next day. Your assignment is not the same as your purpose. Purpose never changes but assignment changes day by day. You’re given assignment every single day” She said while preparing to close.

She brought her session to a close by challenging us, the people of Nigeria. According to her, “Nigeria is a young toddler nation, 59 years old, and shouldn’t be compared to nations as United States, Great Britain, China and the likes who have been in existence for centuries.”

She encouraged us not to allow the world’s opinion about us to define who we are.

Yes we will have pain points while fighting some battles till we become clear about our brand and identity.

“You are the answer to Nigeria’s prayer”, she said, “and you have to arise to the assignment to be the agent of change that Nigeria needs.”

She then prayed for people and prophesied. It was an evening of the feast on wisdom.
