WAFBEC 2019 (DAY 1) – Opening Night With Bishop Wale Oke

What a night! As always, Bishop Wale first session at WAFBEC 2019 was a night of powerful prophetic utterances.

After an opening prayer, with thanksgiving, he read Gen 1:28

In the bid to explain the word, ‘Fruitfulness’, he said that the first interaction man had with his maker, i.e., God, was the pronouncement of the blessing upon him.

He added that when God formed man, He put the breath of life into him and conferred the blessing on him.

He told the congregation, “I have permission to bind, to loose, So whatever is cursed in this ground is reserved.” Amen!

Still teaching on the blessing, he said, “Your destiny is in the blessing. The generation of the upright is blessed. You are irrevocably and perpetually blessed.”

“When God said be fruitful, it wasn’t an advice; it was a command.”, he added; and explained that when God says be fruitful, fruitfulness must be.

He, went ahead with the prophetic declaration that any form of barrenness in your life is terminated tonight. Amen!

He quoted Gen 17:6 and John 15:8, explaining that we are not only supposed to be fruitful, but exceedingly fruitful. He stressed that God made it clear in His word – We are to bear ‘much fruit’.

Below are some scriptural references he pointed to while explaining this;

Exodus 1:7 – And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

"I am confident about tonight's meeting. @franciswaleoke is supposed to be our first speaker at #WAFBEC2019. Who goes first matters. Israel asked God who shall go and God replied "Judah shall go first". You get it right first meeting, it gets easier for others to flow." ~ Pastor Poju Oyemade Join us this evening 6.00pm for a time of signs, wonders, healings and prophetic utterances at The Covenant Place Iganmu Lagos next to the National Theatre.

According to Bishop, “Fruitfulness is something that must enter into you first, though like a tiny seed at first. You must conceive it first then you deliver. And it takes strength to deliver.”  Heb 11:11

He spoke about the many forms of strength.

  1. Spiritual strength. Eph 3:16 “…strengthened with might by the Spirit of God in your inner man.”
  2. Mental Strength. Sound wisdom, insight, concept and ideas. That was the strength of Solomon.
  3. Emotional strength. The kind that enables you not to be troubled in your emotions, by fear, depression, inferiority.
  4. Social strength. When you’re surrounded by people that matter to you.
  5. Moral strength. The ability to stand by your words, to exercise integrity, self control. That was the waterloo of Samson.
  6. Financial strength . To be able to leverage on money. Money is a major tool of destiny fulfillment.
  7. Physical strength. You serve God in good health. [At this point, he prophesied healing over sick bodies].

At the end, he prayed for God to release the diverse areas of strength which he spoke about.

Thereafter he released flood tides of prophetic declarations and addressed specific situations by prophecy.
