BE THE STANDARD
Pastor Andy began by telling the congregation what God told him at the beginning of the year. He said that God told him this will be the year of the Holy Ghost.
He also mentioned that believers will experience:
Then he read from Isa. 59:15-19. He explained the word ‘flood’. He described Satan as the accuser of the brethren because he attacks with words. He said that the devil has no authority, but he uses the authority of believers against them.
Pastor Andy explained the word, ‘standard’ in verse 20 of Isa. 59. He said that the Church ought to be the standard through redemption. He advised that Christians should take authority.
He also called on believers to be the standard and reference points in every sphere of endeavor. He said, “We are religious, but we are not operating as the standard.”
Referencing Eph.1:20-21, he said that the Holy Ghost has lifted us to higher positions. He said that in the realm of the spirit, demons and poverty are far beneath believers.
Pastor Andy went ahead to explain three (3) areas were believers ought to be standards.
Our lives should demonstrate the superiority of the power of God.
He said the body is Christ needs to move in it’s full splendor. “Take your supernatural power to your businesses and workplaces. Satan has no chance against the new testament church. We are God’s standard in these last days” he added quoting Isaiah 60:1
He further said that when light comes, you should arise. It will become a problem if you receive light and you do not arise. Be the standard in the media.
Believers need to redefine wealth. He said that God does not supply our needs based on the economic dictates of this world.
Pastor Andy said, “Don’t be afraid to be the standard in politics. Stop pointing fingers and jump in. You are the salt of the earth. Politics is a mess in Nigeria, because believers have refused to act.” Isaiah 59:20-21
“All you need to excel is God’s anointing and word. The Holy Ghost gives us capacity, and it’s our covenant right.”
He when you speak in faith by the anointing of God, demons cannot tell who gave the order. He urged everyone to believe and act accordingly. That believers should listen to the word of God in such a way, that they’ll see.
Pastor Andy also shared how he overcame migraine and Asthmatic attacks using the word of God.
Using the story of David, he explained how Goliath used words to paralyse Israel’s army. He then warned everyone to be careful of what they hear.
“Don’t keep quiet. A quiet Christian is a dead one. Everything David spoke happened. Learn to send the word ahead of you”, he added.
Finally he asked everyone to rise up and speak words of authority.
