The System Called Mercy – Apostle Arome Osayi Day 4 Afternoon Session 2

Apostle Arome Osayi

Speaking on the topic ‘The System called Mercy’, Apostle Arome started by reading the book of Isaiah 55: 3 and Acts 13:32 -34. He pointed out from both scriptures, a promise for believers that was called ‘The Sure Mercies of David’. He reasoned that there are two ‘becomings’ of Jesus, the first as said in John 1:12 and Hebrews 1:3. This is Jesus as God becoming flesh, and divinity becoming humanity. And the second becoming of Jesus’ as showed in 1Corinthians 15:45 and 2 Corinthians 3:17 describes the resurrection of Jesus which was supernatural.

Explaining further, Apostle Arome admonished that these becomings of Jesus has created a system of mercy for believers, and at such, Heavens expect believers to live in a newness of life. Our entry into the resurrection is as a result of the mercy system. This system is one no one could have been able to access if not for the birth and resurrection of Jesus.

Apostle Arome established that believers will only be able to access the newness of life through the Holy Spirit, adding that the whole new life promised a believer trapped inside can only come into full expression when he receives mercy.

Indices of the Resurrection life.

These are ways through which believers should be able to judge their work to show if they are working in the system of mercy or not. The first is that their spiritual senses will become active and functioning. Man was created with spiritual senses, but he will need to be birthed again to have access to an awakening in the spiritual possibilities available to him.

The preacher explained that this was made available to believers through the system of mercy. He went further to reveal the signs of spiritual health.

  1. The knowing of Revelation.

A believers first spiritual sense is called the Knowing of Revelation. The preacher explained this as ‘You may not know how you know, but you just know.’ Just like in John 13:1-3, Jesus knew everything that would happen to him, nothing caught him by surprise, no man can execute or break a man that knows.

Going further, Apostle Arome went on to ask the attentive congregation, ‘what do you know?’, stating that is from knowledge that the fulfillment and manifestation of destiny will emerge.

He added that there is a knowledge that comes, you may face so many shakings, but because you know, you will survive it.

And just as 2 Timothy 1:12 talks about the knowledge that brings persuasion, if you don’t know, persecution will break you, you will deny God. Again, the preacher asked, ‘what do you know?’

  1. The sight of Affection

Apostle Arome explained that God wants to show believers great and mighty things which he knows not, just as Jeremiah 33:3 pointed out.

  1. The Hearing of Faith

The hearing of faith is hearing God. A believer who wants their senses activated will forget about everything and just focus their mind on God and allow the Holy Spirit to fill their minds with revelations.

Ending on this high, Apostle asked the congregation to rise and activate the spirit of God within them by focusing on the spirit of God, emptying their minds of any other thing and speaking in tongues. He ended his session by praying for the activation of the gifts of the spirit. This was followed by diverse manifestations and testimonies.
