Pastor Charles Cowan teaching as #WAFBEC2103 kicked off brought clear and practical perspective to how we ought to approach the word of God if we are to live productive lives of. He shed new light on some of scriptures we already believe we understand. His insights on the word were simple yet powerful and true.
Among some of the truths he expounded on were the following;
The Location of your faith is the key to the fruitfulness of your faith walk
The level of your faith will determine what can your faith do for you and/or provide for you. What you believe will never do you any good, until you take what you believe and put it into action
The kingdom of God operates on a seed sowing principle
“And he said, so is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground”; Mark 4:26 KJV
Where our hearts are the ground, he explained how the word of God is a seed that holds the capacity to produce all that God has promised. If we want to experience the fullness of God’s promises we must make a decision to first ready our hearts as fertile ground, decide to grasp the word of truth and plant it in our hearts, watch as the seed of the word in our hearts begins to produce what it talks about within our lives and circumstance.
And note as like every other seed there is a cycle and the harvest will surely come. Everything that God has promised is in the seed, If God ever says something that is the way it is, if he says it, it is going to happen the way he has said it will.
The kingdom of God operates on a seed sowing principle
When we hear the word of God we are receiving it into our hearts. Faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God, it is good to be believe the word of God, it is the foundation but we need to take it further by acting on it like the truth that it is
The seed of God is the word of God and the word of God is the power of God
The power that is in the word will overcome any obstacle, challenge, temptation, test, trial, sickness, disease, worry, anxiety or any care that tries to fasten itself upon your mind.
