The Power of Invisible Wealth – Pst Sola Fola-Alade Day 4 Evening Session 1

Pastor Sola Fola-Alade

On Day 4, the first evening session of WAFBEC 2022, Pastor Sola Fola-Alade of The Liberty church, London started out by reading out his anchor scriptures from Exodus 29:29, Genesis 25:5-6 and Genesis 26:1-5,12-22. He talked about passing invisible wealth from one generation to another using the Jews, David and Abraham as his case studies.

Starting with the Jews, He explained how they prosper regardless of where they go to, they prosper in financial wealth as well as spiritual wealth. He said the reason for their prosperity is because they have the backing of God.

“When you look at the Jews historically, as a group of people, they typify the mercy of God and the hand of God. The jews have a lot more than intellectual prowess and intellectual property. They have spiritual wealth. They turned Palestine (Which is a desert land) into one of the most flourishing agricultural lands in whole the world”

Next, we looked at the life of David who sought to show kindness (mercy and compassion) to the house of Saul because of Jonathan in 2 Samuel 9:1-6. Pastor Sola went to say that David had cut a covenant with Jonathan before he died that when he got to his throne, he was going to be kind and merciful to Jonathan’s children. Jonathan’s children did not know anything about this.

“This is what we call the covenant of mercy! David helped Mephibosheth because of Jonathan. Mephibosheth was down and out, forgotten and downtrodden, broken, he was lame in his feet. Mephibosheth was a beggar in Lodebar and he was taken to the king’s table.” He mentioned that God is looking for someone whom He will show mercy or kindness for Jesus’ sake.

“God kept an everlasting covenant with David. What makes a God cut a covenant with a man lasting from one generation to another? We are talking about mercy that will last from generation to generation. You build generational wealth and blessings with invisible wealth which is God Himself Exodus 3:6. What will your children inherit from you?”

He explained further using Genesis 25:6 to show how Abraham didn’t give Isaac any tangible wealth but the bible says he gave him ‘all’. That was the real wealth, the invisible wealth that produces all the other things. This same pattern was followed from one generation to the other. In Hebrews 11:20, Isaac transferred this invisible wealth and Jacob did the same thing to the next generation. Hebrews 11:21.

Esau was not discerning, he was concerned about material things and right before his face, Jacob took all that he had. He urged the congregation not to forfeit their invisible spiritual wealth for material temporal blessings like Esau. The most important thing is to receive the invisible coat of God’s presence, he claimed.

Pastor Sola went on highlight four benefits of the invisible wealth namely;

In Genesis 25, a physical ‘coat’ was given to Isaac while a spiritual coat was given to God’s Son, Jesus when the heavens opened and He heard God’s voice saying  “this is my beloved son with whom I am well pleased” Luke 3:2. When you start wearing the invisible coat of God, you will start hearing God’s voice. ‘What will you give to your children?’, he charged.

In conclusion, he said “God doesn’t want us to desire things, rather He wants us to desire Him Genesis 26:12-11. Never let your activity overwhelm your spirituality. God is your source. Satan’s big strategy is to attack your source rather than your resource. If you lose your resource, you will gain much more back but if you lose your God, you have lost everything.”
