Day 8: Session 7 – Pastor Sola Oshunmakinde

Pastor Sola Oshunmakinde climbed the podium and remarked how being called to take a session was totally unexpected and that he prayed God would use him to speak to those present.

Numbers 13:18-20
It isn’t that we don’t pray, the challenge is that we don’t recognize the answers to our prayers.
The Promised Land is either weak or strong…depends on the person looking at it! The ten spies had an evil report about the land and how it consumed its inhabitants. On the other hand Caleb and Joshua spoke about how they (Israelites) were well able to possess it because God had given it to them.
The prayers offered to God enables those that make them see the answers He has already provided.
To understand service and love means we don’t miss out on the opportunities God has already prepared.
Confessing outside the revealed will of God doesn’t bring result.
2Samuel 15:31-35
Any time we pray and come to the place of worship will cause our eyes to be opened. What is worship? Worship is where man’s will bows to God. It means total surrender, i.e. not my will but yours.
