Once someone gets born again they not only switch kingdoms (from darkness to light), but switch systems as well. In the kingdom of God, everything we will ever need has been provided. God planned that all the promises in the Bible materialise in the lives of His children.

What this means is that the more knowledge of the Word of God and His promises the believer possesses, the more revelation they have and the more their faith develops and the more God works on their behalf.

Faith is the currency in God’s kingdom! You need faith to enter into God’s rest. Faith is a rest and nobody can enter into God’s rest without faith. God wants us to rest and let Him work and this can only be done by faith. God rested because He was finished…not tired. The concept of the Sabbath originated when God was teaching the Israelites about rest.

God gave them manna everyday and twice more than what was needed on the sixth day so that they did not have to do any hard labour on the seventh day. The Sabbath is a reminder of God’s promise to bring His people back to completeness so they can rest in God’s promises. God is our provider and He works through faith. The things God uses to provide for His own are resources and we must recognise that God is our source. The earth was created to serve us. We were not created to serve the earth. When we operate in faith we must be conscious that God is our ONLY source.

Jesus came to save and to destroy the works of the devil. He came to show us how to fix a problem or need without hard labour. He came to reconnect us to our original source, God. Jesus teaches us the system of the kingdom of God. We are to seek after the kingdom of God, find our assignment, the greater purpose for which we were created. We should not allow ourselves to be distracted by worldly needs because God’s provision is enormous and all paid for by Jesus.

God is a big God and wants us to think big. He has provided all that is needed to run Heaven’s economy, however the provision does not flow without placing a demand on it. The covenant of God works on the basis of supply and demand. Through faith you plug into God’s power.
