Day 6: Session 1 – Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo

In his third session at the ongoing WAFBEC 2015, Pastor Matthew Ashimolowo spoke on the subject Living by Revelation.

Genesis 1:26-31, 2:1-2

God created man in His image and has transferred into him all that was in Himself (God) so that we might manifest the life of God. God made us complete having deposited in us all that we need to fulfil purpose in the earth. God has fixed our purpose and we decide our destiny by the actions we take and what we do with what God has deposited on the inside of us. It is God’s purpose for every believer to be His replication on earth. We should link up with the things God has put on the inside of us so we can live in the victory God has given us.

Romans 8:12, 2Corinthians 6:1

The grace of God to fulfil purpose is already on the inside of every believer and through revelation of who they are in Christ and the things He has put in them will they be manifested.

After the fall of Adam in the Garden of Eden, man took the form of the fall, conforming to traditions of the world and shaping his actions and decisions after the dictates of culture and tradition. This hindered the manifestation of God’s purpose for man. Instead of being led by the form of the fall we should be led by the Spirit of God and be transformed into the very image of God.

God’s form is Psalm 82:6, Isaiah 48:7, Psalm 45:1

Transformation comes by revelation. The things that God has furnished His children with are discovered through revelation. They must learn to look at things which are not seen because they are eternal. With this they will see beyond impossibilities and live in the midst of battles unfazed. Revelation empowers and brings in new seasons and turn things to favour those concerned.

Anything gotten by revelation cannot be taken away! Get into faith and operate by revelation.
