Day 5: Session 4 – Pastor Efe Obuke

Pastor Efe Obuke shared some personal experiences at the start of his message. One testimony was about a visa application to the UK embassy, he omitted some documents because he felt it was not necessary since it wasn’t his first time to travel there. His application was rejected because of this and there wasn’t enough time to file an appeal either. He decided to inform his host about developments, but before he did, he first prayed and while praying, he saw himself at Heathrow airport being welcomed. What he saw was different from his reality.

Pastor Obuke remembered his last trip with his family to the UK and that some documents were given to him with a phone number included. He called the number and explained his situation and he was able to get his visa. A closed door became opened.

Amos 3:7

Pastor Efe explained how God cannot do a thing without revealing it first. God’s revelation precedes His doing. It’s through God pointing out something the miraculous occurs. Once whilst preparing for a meeting God revealed to him that someone with a missing tooth would be in the meeting and when he got there, he called the person out and prayed for them.

He also read John 5:19-20 and explained that whatever we can see, we can have and that God shows His love to us by showing us. He shared another story of how he got his first job. He locked himself in his room and while praying, God directed him to go to a particular place. When he got there, he started walking down the street and heard he was to go right. With this he saw a place where they needed a doctor. God leads us to still waters because He loves us so he shows us what to do.

Acts 9:37-40.

The people who sent for Peter knew he had the capacity to raise the dead. They probably did not believe they could raise the dead too. When Peter got there, he knelt to pray. Peter knew he was as helpless as the people who sent for him and that’s the reason he prayed.

The Spirit is bringing an impartation of knowing and seeing and this is the key to the miraculous. What He shows us, we can do and whatever He reveals, He does. This is why we have the Holy Ghost, He reveals and shows.

The miraculous is so easy if you can see it. Everything we need, the Holy Ghost can show and reveal to us. Whatever he shows us, can become ours.

He left the podium praying for the congregation for the Spirit of seeing and knowing.
