Day 5: Afternoon Session 2 with Apostle Joshua Selman

Day 5: Afternoon Session 2 with Apostle Joshua Selman

Apostle Selman approached the pulpit in his usual purposeful manner – eager to bring insight to the even more eager audience.

Though this was his first time speaking at the conference, the audience had quickly falling in love with his teaching, This afternoon, he shared several tools that will help the saints manifest dominion on the earth.

While referencing 1 Timothy 4:15, he said it was pertinent to bring believers to the understanding of these principles.

He went further to remind the believers that it has indeed been given to the church to know the mysteries of the kingdom. He said the word “Kingdom” refers to every domain where the influence of God can reach.

While stating that the currency of destiny is time, he reminded everyone to redeem time because the Christian’s work on earth requires wisdom. He added that

when you lose time, you’ve really lost a great thing.

He went ahead to teach the importance of introducing systems of advantages to begin to change man’s disadvantages. “Salvation is a way to introduce advantages into your life. This is why the Bible says in Rom. 8:28.”, he said.

He then spoke on the law of value, with Prov 18:16 as a focal scripture. He said that the measure of usefulness of a person will determine the power to dominate. “The first real value you have is your closeness to the character of Christ. Virtue is sustaining what Christ only can give, which are the fruits of the spirit. These makes you indispensable.”

He closed his sermon on the importance of having destiny helpers. He reminded everyone that the earth is a realm and a domain, controlled and managed by men. “Connecting everyone from where they are to where they need to be is the ministry of destiny helpers.” Focal scriptures is 2 Samuel 9:3 -10

The types of destiny helpers he spoke about were;

  1. Divine connectors. He shared examples such as maids, children, etc
  2. Men of influence. He admonished everyone to pray for these kinds of people in their life. He called them Gate-Keepers.
  3. Gifted people. According to him, you need these people to get the job done. 1 Sam 16:17-18
  4. Burden Bearers. He said that these are trusted and faithful people who will stay with you through challenges. Ruth 1:17
