DAY 4 EVENING SESSION 1 with PASTOR TONY RAPU

DAY 4 EVENING SESSION 1 with PASTOR TONY RAPU

An orchestra of musical notes ushered the congregation into the prophetic tonight! Glorious!

Everyone was drawn unrestrainedly into the worship. Dr Rapu not only wished each person in the auditorium to be stirred up in their spirit, he took everyone on a journey that truly stirred something in their hearts, leaving behind a wave of shouts of war!

From worship, the congregation entered into a session of intercessory prayers for the birth of this new era. During intercession, Pastor Tony said that one way in which the old vanishes is by declaring the new – by declaring the new to the universe, to the galaxies. “God wants to bring you to a place of passion for intercession, for inside each one of us is something to be birthed just as Jacob at a time was carrying Israel.”, he added.

He shared the story of Hannah in the book of 1 Samuel 1-6. This was God bringing about a new era. Two other stories he used were those of Ruth and some judges in the book of Judges (specifically, indomitable spirits like Shamgar and Deborah, the strong woman) Judges 3:31, Judges 5:6

He asked the question in Jer. 49:1. This was directed to the congregation – Why do you dwell in the cities and who is occupying the seats of government and industries? Judges chapters 17 -19.

He went ahead to say that God needed something new in Israel, He needs something new from us right now. (God was raising a transitional man in Samuel. The man to put an end to the judges and raise kings). “He needs a man for the same purpose today!”, he said.

He reminded everyone that Samuel raised David, and by this Israel moved from the place of famine to the place of bounty. “God needs a man, a woman who carries a burden for birthing something new.”

Pastor Rapu charged the assembly to the point where everyone rose up to the call of birthing changes, Rev.21:5. Prov.29:2.

He said kings are coming, kings are coming! Will you rise up and let’s speak into your destinies? “You might be in the wilderness right now.” Like no one sat until David showed up (1 Samuel 16) we will not sit down until the kings rise up! This needs the one kind of faith that does not compromise! It carries the anointing for war, rulership!

Then the intercessory prayers continued…
