Day 3: Session 3 – Pastor Trina Hankins

Day 3: Session 3 – Pastor Trina Hankins

Pastor Trina Hankins ministered at the Island service on day 3 of the West Africa Faith Believers’ Convention, the sermon title was Triumphing in the Holy Spirit.

God always causes us to triumph in Christ. The Glory of God cannot be hidden. When the life of God is inside you it explodes.

Everyone has a testimony, Jesus is a personal Jesus. He walks into our lives no matter where we are. There’s this story of a Buddhist that was meditating and doing what they normally do and Jesus walks in. How do you explain that? This Buddhist must have had a hunger for God and Jesus met him right where he was. Jesus says, if there’s a hunger in our heart, we will be satisfied.

Jesus meets anybody anywhere, everyone has a testimony, share your testimony and the Holy Spirit comes upon those words and changes someone’s life as a result.

Sickness and disease do not come from heaven. Some tout this lie that it’s punishment for some wrong that you may have done. It’s the thief that comes to steal, kill and destroy. We need the authority of the Word of God to give us boldness. We have mouths to use our dominion and authority as believers.

The Holy Spirit is inside of us. Though we might have doubt and fear, the Holy Spirit counters that with the voice of peace and wisdom from inside of us. The fact that the Holy Spirit is in us might be basic and elementary but we forget. We still go around heavy laden, we need to give it all to the Holy Spirit.

Matt 18:19, Act 2:1

When we are all in one accord, ANYTHING is POSSIBLE. When two or more agree on anything it shall be done. Jesus the head of the church wants all of us to work together. When we cry out in one accord, we say what the Holy Spirit is saying.

John 14, Ps 107:20,

Jesus came to redeem us and He remains at the right hand of God interceding for us. When we need help, He sends His Word. When you call upon the Lord, expect to hear a word, grab the thought when it comes. There’s a word for any situation in which you might find yourself.

The power of God enables us act like Jesus, the power of God gives us the wisdom of God, enables us to do all things through the Holy Spirit. The power of God gives us the faith of God. The work of redemption happens through the Holy Spirit.

John 7:37

Jesus asks us to drink of the Holy Spirit. The intention of Jesus is for us to be full and flowing with the Holy Spirit. Do not go anywhere without drinking of the Holy Spirit.

John 4, 2 Corinthians 2:14, Psalm 18:28

Jesus is waiting patiently for us like he did the Samaritan woman. He waits with words of hope and not condemnation. He is waiting patiently for us to drink of the Holy Spirit. God always causes us to triumph and the Holy Spirit always causes us to triumph. Our lives are a parade of victory.
