Day 3 Afternoon Pastor Poju Oyemdade – Releasing Your Faith By Speaking To Things

Pastor Poju Oyemade started by emphasising that the key to entering into the miraculous is in the collective. He quoted from John 7:38 which speaks of every man coming to Jesus to drink. To explain what it means to come to drink, he read from Isaiah 55 vs 1-2 and pointed out that you drink by hearing. He that believeth on me after he heard, out of his belly shall flow the rivers of living water. Pastor Poju commented that miracles are not hard, but the issue is that the people listen and get filled to the point where miracles can happen, but are left alone without releasing their faith. As you listen and hear, something is being deposited into you but nothing is released because you didn’t speak.

Quoting from Matthew 12 vs 33 – 36, he pointed out that the mouth can only bring out that which is in there in abundance. You have to release your faith, and to release your faith, you must be speaking specifically, not generally. There is no time in the bible where Jesus addressed a situation in general; He spoke specifically. Jesus talked to the fig tree, he spoke to the wind and the storm, he spoke to sicknesses and diseases. If you haven’t started talking to things, you are not spiritual. Christians talk about things and don’t talk to things. Even when we want to talk to things, we often talk negatively. You can’t change in your hand what you have cursed with your mouth.

Pastor Poju commented that People don’t want to exercise themselves, and that is why people will pay for things to be done for them. But it is out of your own belly, shall flow the rivers of living water. The Roman centurion gave us the key, he said to Jesus Christ that I am a man under authority, I said to this go and he goes. Jesus was amazed at such faith. Even Jesus Christ is submitted to the father, that is why we are submitted to him. If you rebel against authority, you lose your own authority.

Pastor Poju went back to why confessions work. He emphasized that out of your belly speaks about the Holy Spirit. You can say things like God’s time is the best but it’s not really in the bible. God doesn’t put you in Limbo, you put yourself where you  want. He referred back to Luke 5 vs 20, about the faith of the men that brought their palsy friend and Luke 7 :48-50 Which talked about faith. He further commented that if it was Jesus’s faith, he would give it to everyone but it was each person’s faith that healed them.

If you ask a Christian what you will be in 5 five years, he will answer only God knows.

Pastor Poju also read from John 11:25 where Jesus said that “I am the resurrection and the life”. According to him, that statement was an affirmation of what Jesus believed. But He had to still call Lazarus forth when he got to where Lazarus was laid.

He talked about Peter who started by praying to God for Dorcas to be raised but he ended by turning to the dead body and telling her to get up. Until he spoke to her, her body remained lifeless. He pointed out that many people have prayed but not spoken to the issue.

Christianity is not looking at a star to participate, Christianity is participatory for everyone. Every preacher that preached on WAFBEC releases virtue to you. When it enters into you , you should manifest.

He ended the session by charging the congregation to release their faith by speaking specifically to whatever mountain is confronting them.
