Day 2 – Session 3: Pastor Darrell Huffman

In his second session at the ongoing West Africa Faith Believers’ Convention Pastor Darrell Huffman continued teaching on faith, the Word of God and His power and how they all work together.

Isaiah 10:27, Luke 4:14, 5:17-18, Acts 1:4, 10:38, 4:29-31 Romans 8:14.

The power of God must be ignited by us unless it will lie dormant. What this means is that we have to do something to activate God’s power in our lives. Faith is what causes this power to move in our lives. In order words, you must act in faith to activate God’s power.

Faith and God’s power means victory for the child of God. There are many touches e.g. coincidence, curiosity, incidental etc for Jesus, but it is only the touch of faith that moves His hands.

When we get specific with God faith flows to Him and His power flows to us.

Mark 5: 25-28

Faith comes by hearing the Word of God, so this means we should be receptive to hear the Word. Faith also means that we ought to confess what the Word says rather than what our senses are screaming. Another aspect of faith also means that we must act on what the Word says.
