Pastor Darrell Huffman used the text in Habbakuk 2:1-3 as the foundational scripture for his teaching and shed more light on this familiar reference in the course of the message.
When you hear the Word you have to receive it. If you don’t receive anything, nothing can take place. When God reveals something to us it is for us. Vision is both revelation and sight. If you don’t see something…you can’t have it. On the other hand when the Spirit of revelation shows you something it becomes a life force to you.
The revelation and message of God has the power of God’s life inside it to bring it to pass. In other words, what God has said to you has the power to come to pass in your life! God works through the Spirit and the Word.
You must receive the Word, make it your Word and stay with it, it will come to pass. Remember that God may speak a revelation through a man but its God’s revelation to you. You have to take ownership of God’s revelation and make it God’s revelation to you.

The power of God will work and keep working as long as the switch of faith is turned on. The message of faith is a personal word from God to you.
Pastor Hoffman reminded everyone to take responsibility for their own lives and that to live by faith means mixing action with the Word. You have to combine faith with the Word (i.e. what God said). Simply put, faith is you doing what God said you should.
