Bishop Wale Oke Speaks on The Power of Mercy – Day 2 Evening Session 2

Bishop Francis Wale Oke

Bishop Wale Oke started his session with the testimony of the outcast in Mark 10: 47- 49. He said when the cry of Mercy comes from a genuine heart, God’s attention is caught the same way Jesus stood still in this instance. He reminded the congregation that he didn’t come to WAFBEC to preach or teach per se but as a prophet to proclaim the counsel of God and activate the power of God through prophetic utterances.

He began to prophesy over the congregation. He charged the congregation to only believe to see the glory of God. Quoting Psalm 105:19 -20, he talked about the story of Joseph. He mentioned that for 13 years the story was all negative and Joseph went from one bad situation to another. However, all that changed the moment his word came. Joseph’s garment was changed, released from prison, all instantly and he never recorded any negative story again in his lifetime.

He prophesied that what takes other people seven years will now begin to take some people weeks now. The word brings favour; throughout this year, you will walk in uncommon favour and unusual favour. He decreed that shall be the portion of everyone this year.

Judges 11:11, describing the story of Jephthah, he declared that our season of celebration has come. According to Habakkuk 2:3, he said that when the appointed time comes, there would be a moving on! He declared that from tonight, the positives alone will happen – Proverbs 4:18. He said and this begins tonight.

Ephesians 2:1- 4, he stated that the Mercy of God is about us humans. He stated that each individual is either under the lordship of Jesus or are not and so subject to the devil. He said the mercy of God settles an account of our lives; God, he said is rich in mercy. At the very heart of our redemption is the mercy of God. He explained that for us to have this mercy, His son was crushed for us! Isaiah 53:10 – it was the Lord’s good plan!

He closed his message by further expounding on the works the father put in place for us in Ephesians 2:7, Romans 8:32 and Galatians 3: 13 & 14. He charged us to be grateful to God and called for the unsaved to be saved.
