Bishop Feb Idahosa Speaks On The Table God Has Prepared For Us – Day 6 Afternoon Session 2

Bishop Feb Idahosa

Bishop Feb started by reading Psalm 23 and decreed a blessing upon the congregation based on the last verse. Focusing on verse 5, he talked about table the misconceptions that people have about this table. He then revealed that the table is actually a table for us and God. He called it a table for two. Talking about the table that God has prepared, he said it was a table that we didn’t need to work for because it was prepared by God. He said that the table represents God’s presence and also secondly, it guarantees God’s provision.

Reading from Ephesians 2:6-7, he talked about how God seats us at a table with him so that at an age to come, he’ll show us a wealth that is incomparable to what we’ve seen before. This is to show us the incomparable riches of his grace expressed to us in his kindness in Jesus. Following this, he announced to the congregation that Christ has shown them favour and Grace.

Explaining that we now have access because of the Grace given to us, he said that the only thing we needed was to show up at the table to enjoy what God has for us. He emphasized that God has called us by our individual names. Putting a rhetorical question to the congregation, he asked them what it was that they wanted to see. He assured that Grace has found them.

Referring to the old testament, he talked about the different benefits we see in God – how he has strength, power, grace, healing, victory, answer to prayers, etc. He then went on to reveal that everything that God has dwells in Jesus – the fullness of the Godhead. Since Christ is in us, therefore, everything God has in Christ is in us as Christians. He showed the congregation that as a result of this, they are blessed in every way.

Bishop Feb Idahosa brought his session to a close by asking Rev. Emiko to come on stage and prayer over the congregation.
