Opening Night of WAFBEC 2020.

Opening Night of WAFBEC 2020.

On the first night of WAFBEC 2020, the Visioneer, Pastor Poju Oyemade read Revelation 21:3-6 to explain how he received God’s word for this year’s conference. Before he gave his welcome address, Dunsin Oyekan, a prophetic worship leader, had led the congregation on a session of deep praise and adoration of God. It was a quality time of praise in God’s presence.

According to Pastor Poju, God will take away every pain, sorrow, affliction, sickness or disease during WAFBEC 2020. He will take away the former things and make all things new. He read 2 Timothy 1:6 and 7 to explain the role of faith so the congregation can reap the benefits of this year’s conference.

He taught that the reason for organising WAFBEC and conferences like this is to teach believers how to apply the word of God and also to put their faith to work.

He explained that WAFBEC is a strategic meeting and that everyone must come with an intent to the sessions. He reiterated that there must be a purpose or something you want God to do in your life and WAFBEC is the place where you receive from him while listening to the speakers. Pastor Poju spoke about the attitude of Christians after receiving the word of God from a minister on the pulpit. He concluded that every day by 10 pm, there will be corporate prayers on Mixlr. The purpose is to pray against Satan and prevent him from stealing the revelation that has been planted.

At the end of the conference, there will be prayer and fasting for 3 days. This is so that those things spoken into the lives of people can be internalised and come to pass. He closed the opening remark by sharing the history of how he met Bishop Wale Oke and built a relationship with him. He then invited him to the pulpit for his session.
