WAFBEC 2019 (Day 7) Afternoon session 1 with Pastor Mark Baker

It was Pastor Mark Baker’s first time at WAFBEC. He gave honour to Pastor Poju Oyemade and his wife, Toyin Oyemade.

He started from Hebrews 11:1 (though his foundational scriptural was Josh. 1: 8) and spoke that faith means doing things God’s way. It is drawn from the word of God to produce a living proof.

According to him, and while reading Hebrews 11:6, he said that it is important to know that God has already done that thing which you petition him for. He added that God is about to set the people up with unusual opportunities.

Here were the words he prophesied over the congregation;

“An effective door has opened for you. Even though it will come with many adversaries, do not focus on them. God is getting ready to take you and sit you in front of some tables you have never sat in your life. God is getting ready to set you in the presence of men and women of incredible minds”.

“You just need to walk in confidence, know that God is for you and nobody can be against you. There are some major things that are going to happen in your life, and by this time next year, you are going to ask yourself how you moved up”, he encouraged the people.

He prophesied again,

“You will not be overlooked anymore. This year will be the year where you become a 100% tither. God is about to set you before a wonder and it is a wonder of vision. God is ready to set provision for you, so you can carry out the assignment of your life. God will do something in your life, and even if he told you, you will not believe it. God will take you from the back and move you to the front. By this time next year, you will not be in the same place that you are today. God is about to get really involved in your finances. You are about to go places you have not been in your life. God wants you to start pushing other people’s vision. Start pushing your pastor’s vision like never before. If you push someone else’s vision, he will raise others to push your vision”.

Pastor Baker then read from Mark 11:22-23 and Romans 4:17, and asked everyone never to speak what they do not have. “I never say what I do not have. I say I do not have it yet,” he added.

According to him, “Your confession controls your life. Wherever you are today, is the result of your own confession”.

Then he advised the people, “Take ownership of your own failures and do not make people feel like they are responsible for your failures”.

He closed with these prophetic words,

“The end of your dry season is today. No more being unproductive. This is the year you will be fruitful. You will be blessed in the city, you will be blessed in the field and everywhere your feet threads on, God will give to you. God said he is getting ready to get involved in your finances today, and it is so huge. Many of you will see God move in a way that you have never seen him move before. This the season you will go through the three stages of prosperity”.
