WAFBEC 2018 – Day 3 (Morning Session 2) with Rev. Trina Hankins

WAFBEC 2018 – Day 3 (Morning Session 2) with Rev. Trina Hankins

THE WORD OF GOD

Rev. Trina started the session by reading from the amplified version of Hebrew 1:2 – 4.

Jesus is the very image of God. He is the radiance and expression of the glory of God. He is the exact representation and perfect imprint of God’s essence.

God is forever connected to His word. He is in tune with His word. Take his word as a “NOW” word.

“Take God’s word as truth and speak it.”

He is always listening. He can do nothing except through His word. When God finds people who speak His word, He is able to bring about the manifestation of His word.

The Bibke says that Jesus was baptized by John the Baptist, anointed by the Holy Spirit and confirmed by God. He went about healing all the oppressed.

“Jesus is the manifestation of God in the body.”

Isaiah 53:5
Jesus was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities, the chastisement of our peace was upon him and by His stripes we are healed.

Jesus went through the cross, tearing down the powers of darkness and rose up to become a new man.

Colossians 1
The glory of Christ is in you. He is our hope of glory. We have become one spirit with God. We are also one spirit with one another in the body of Christ because of our union with Christ. There is a sharing of our faith as believers with Jesus Christ.

God wants us to be filled with His word and His Spirit. We are the manifestation of Jesus wherever we go. We are in the world but we are not of the world. Therefore like Jesus, we can command situations or difficulties that come across our path.

Ephesians 6: 10, 17
Whatever life throws at you, the first thing to do is get your bible, and find out what is written in the word of God. God speaks to us through His word and our spirit. God is so smart, He can deliver any level of solution to any problem that comes your way.

The Holy Spirit comes on you to fight, to put your foot down against the attack of the devil.

You have an assignment the devil does not want you to fulfill. You should refuse to be intimidated and fight back. The devil fights with accusations. We need to know who we are, the weapons are at our disposal, and what God’s word says.

“Like Jesus, we can command situations or difficulties that come across our path. Whatever life throws at you, the first thing to do is get your bible, and find out what is written in the word of God. Jesus took the keys of death, sin and hell, and gave it to us. He gave us authority which we are to exercise on the earth. We have come to change the earth around us. We have not come to be tossed to and fro on the earth.”

Hebrews 12:22-24, Luke 10:19
As the body of Christ, we have all been given a position from which we conduct kingdom business.  We pray as believers on the earth who have been given authority and you do not give up until you get the right result. Jesus took the keys of death, sin and hell, gave it to us and also gave us authority which we are to exercise on the earth. We have come to change the earth around us. We have not come to be tossed to and fro on the earth.

Jeremiah 15:16
God delivers his word to us every day. He gets his will into the world, through His word and His Spirit. It gets into you through your mouth, that is by speaking it.

Psalm 1, Psalm 4:21
The word of God will not do anything if it is closed up. You need to open it up. It is God’s love letter to you. The more you love and value the word, the more revelation you get from it. You can do what the Word says you can do. We do not live by bread alone but by the word of God.

“The word is God’s love letter to you.”

Philippians 4:6
Do not worry about anything. Pray about everything.
