THE SPEAKING PART OF FAITH
2 Cor. 4:13,
“We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak,”
Rev. Hankins began wit above scripture. From 2 Cor. 4:13, he mentioned two things which make up the faith of a Christian;
The power of the supernatural is hidden in these two things – “I believe in my heart, and therefore I speak”. I believe in my heart and I speak through words.
In Mark 11:22-24, Jesus showed us what is possibly the most important word of faith in Christianity. He said, “Have faith in God”. To have faith in God means to turn your expectations over to God.
“Our faith is our response to God’s faithfulness.”
In Mark 11:23-24, the “speaking part” of faith was mentioned three time, and the “believing part” once. This therefore means that, faith is expressed when we speak. And when we speak, we do it with authority. The words we speak are the building blocks of our desire.
It is impossible to understand faith without understanding the speaking part of faith. Your words affect your whole body.
“The word of God was spoken before it was written, and written to be spoken.” God’s word works best with a voice. To change your situation, you need a change of sound.
Hebrews 11:6
God is not hard to please, he just wants us to believe. When you please God it is evident in its results. God demands faith from us.
Romans 10:17 says that faith comes from the word of God. In Mark 4:24-25, God’s word is food for faith and how you hear will determine what comes to you.
The Bible has in it the capacity for faith to get all you need. Anybody and anything can be changed by faith, irrespective of the way they are bound or shackled. There is no bondage created by the devil that faith cannot break.
Acts 3:16, Romans 3:25
The name of Jesus has the same potency and authority just as the person of Jesus. If you have accurate knowledge of what the blood of Jesus can do, your faith can work. Nothing else is required apart from faith in the blood of Jesus.
Ephesians 1:18
Faith works the same for everyone. If you are not happy with your life, check what you have been saying. Wisdom and knowledge in the word of God determines the level of your faith. You cannot believe beyond your knowledge of God’s word.
Every breakthrough comes from the word of God. The real barrier is not in the situation, but your knowledge of what God says about the situation. The devil will want to stop you from breaking that barrier. He know that once you can break the first barrier, it becomes easier to break many more barriers.
