Levels and Dimensions of the Power of God’s Mercy – Pastor Andy Osakwe Day 6 Morning Session 1

Pastor Andy Osakwe

The first morning session of WAFBEC day six was insightful. Pastor Andy Osakwe the Senior Pastor of Summit Bible Church Abuja taught on the Levels and Dimensions of the Power of God’s Mercy.

He started his teaching by explaining that while there are different levels each level has different dimensions and continued by saying that there’s a connection between love, mercy, and grace and went on to define each of them:

He went on to read from Ephesians 2:1-8 and explained that mercy is God smiling at us and because of that smile which is a signal of his love for us he gives grace therefore as John 10:10 says we must enjoy the life of God we have by finding the mechanism of supply because God gives us all things to enjoy richly.

So, what is the mechanism of supply that we need to enjoy God’s mercy? As seen in Ephesians 2:8 they are faith and humility; sincere and sustained faith is only possible when you are humble as seen in 1 Peter 5:5-7.

He further explained that before we can truly understand humility we must understand pride, which is when we stop seeing God as our source and holding unto the cares of this life we are supposed to hand over to God. Romans 12:3-5 In balancing his teaching, he admonished us to think highly of ourselves because we are seated together with Christ Jesus in heavenly places.

His teaching switched gears when used the example of the Canaanite woman whose daughter was demon-possessed to explain the two levels of supply which are:

Under the table: that is those who are not in Christ but have access to the leftovers of mercy

On the master’s table: which is for God’s children and sons (matured ones), where healing and divine health is theirs. 1 Peter 2:9

Still, on the master’s table, he said that the level of the supply of mercy is dependent on our maturity. The master’s table is located at the throne of God and therefore the fruit we are to display as people eating from his table is DOMINION, which is the original mandate of God before the fall of man.

He left us with a final charge which we are to consistently declare to unsavoury situations; “Time is Up, the Kingdom of God is here!” which was from the message bible version of Mark 1:14-15.
