To succeed you must have a plan for the New Year. Do not celebrate your past; celebrate His promise (Proverbs 30:15). Quit depending on men. God needs you to move. The steps (movement) of a good man are ordered by the Lord. In what direction will your life move this year? What is your plan?
This year you should plan to;
Develop/improve on your competence – Your asset value speaks of how indispensable you have become while your replacement value tells us just how disposable you are. You are rewarded for the value you give. Let your knowledge fetch you more than your ignorance (Job 13: 2, Eccl 10:10). The duller the axe, the harder the work. Build competence in the area you have chosen (Daniel 12:4).
Develop greater sensitivity – You need hearing ears and seeing eyes.
Embrace the prophetic – In the time of famine, the key is the prophetic. Believe His prophets and you shall prosper (2Chronicles 20:20)
Be a seed sower, it takes a seed to break a siege – Let your seed bring in what you seek. If you want to go up, you have to sow first. And remember not to attack what you desire.
Have faith – You need faith to lay hold on what you desire. Faith is incurable optimism.
Dependency blinds the eyes from seeing opportunities. It wastes your time and shifts responsibilities. You must not be dependent on anyone this year. Draw up your plan and God will order your steps.
