Pastor Taiwo Odukoya spoke on Created to Reign at the second morning session on the last day of convention.
Romans 5:17
God is a God of vision and direction. Everything He created, He created for a purpose. He had an end in sight before He created anything. Man was created to have dominion over every other thing He created.
We are created to reign as Kings and Queens. If you don’t dominate, you will be dominated ( Psalm 80). God has crowned you with glory. You must see this as the reality of your life. God only brings people into glory who know they are destined for glory. What you don’t behold, you don’t become.
Do you know who you are? When you enter into the consciousness of this reality, certain things will begin to crystallise in heart and life. Thoughts will begin to form, attitudes will begin to take shape, perspectives will broaden and deepen, certain relationships will begin to leave and covenant relationships will begin to gravitate towards you.
Ephesians 2:4-6 states we are seated in the heavenly places with Christ Jesus. God has set us above all principalities, powers and every name that can be named. You must know who you are. You must understand that whether by creation, or by recreation, you are a king! You are not a king because you act like one; you are a king because you are one. Your disposition and approach to life must be from the standpoint of this truth. Do not settle for anything less.
When you know who you are, you will begin to assert your right in the kingdom; for where the word of a king is, there is power. Do not let Satan rob you of your kingship rights and privileges through ignorance. You must also realize that kings face challenges. However, their ability to surmount those challenges is the architect of their rise.
David was ordained king yet he faced challenges. Still he encouraged himself and inspired hope in his followers. Kings provide leadership regardless of what they go through. Understand that whatever comes against you has an expiry date. You have nothing to fear. Though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, you must fear no evil.
The power to dominate is in your hands. The bulk stops at your desk. Assert yourself over situations. Do not let situations assert themselves over you. Dominion is your birthright. Arise and enter into your kingship dominion. It’s up to you.
