Day 6: Session 1 – Rev Sam Adeyemi

On the final day of the West Africa Faith Believers’ Convention, Rev Sam Adeyemi set the ball rolling and continued from the thoughts he left us with the previous night.

Hebrews 11:3

A creator is one who has the capacity to bring things into existence. God wants us to know and feel the joy of being creators. John 1:4. The Word became flesh i.e. the material with which God made the world. The Word is convertible. It’s the heavenly resource through which blessings are transmitted to us. It’s revelation.

Revelation is the means through which heaven transfers value to us. The Word is revelation and so remains the foundation of our faith. Revelation is also the most tangible resource of our faith. We should not use the availability and non availability of money to weigh the capacity of God. Jesus didn’t do that.

However, to get revelation from God, we must learn to love. 1John2:9-11. It’s to the extent you love, that determines the extent you can receive revelation and the level of the revelation you receive determines the level your faith.

Love is the condition for receiving revelation. Faith works by love. Mark 11:20-25. You can’t love God if you don’t love your fellow man. God is sensitive to the way we treat people. Acts 4:31-35,Galatians 5:6, James 4:3. Why do you seek what you seek from God? Is it to consume it on your lust or to offer help, value and solution to mankind? Jesus used his faith, grace and anointing to bless mankind.

Begin to develop the capacity to forgive every hurt. You have to accommodate others. Jesus says we should forgive people who hurt us 490 times daily. The days of division are over. It’s the dawn of a new day!
