Day 6 Morning Apostle Grace Lubega – The Power of Positioning

Apostle Lubega titled his message “The  power of positioning.” He took his opening text from Ephesians 3:7-9. The gift of grace in our life qualifies our ministry. Apostle Grace Lubega began his message by saying that our ministry is to make all men see whether in teaching, preaching, prophesying the purpose is to cast vision in the spirit of man. In the spiritual realm there are things for seekers, men who have learned to search out matters. There is a place and position where you can seek or search out something and God will reveal it.

Also there are things in God that are not for seekers. They can’t be searched out. It is not for those who go to the mountain to seek out for the Lord. Even if you seek them, they can’t be found. There are things that are not in the realm of seeking. There are things that are supposed to find you. Apostle Lubega gave an example when Elisha ran away for safety and God answered that he had seven thousand men who had not bowed down to baal.

Elijah was a seeker, but he couldn’t see the seven thousand prophets that God had reserved. 1 king 19 vs 19. He also mentioned Elisha who wasn’t seeking the mantle but was positioned to take it.

Apostle Lubega shared the story of Reinhard Bonke, and how by positioning received the evangelistic mantle that he eventually carried. He spoke of Esau who got out of the way for Jacob to be positioned to receive the blessing. He needed the wisdom upon the mother to position him for his father’s blessings. In spite of your anointing, preaching, teaching you will need God to position you in life. He spoke of his personal experiences where things came on him because he was positioned.

Going further, he read from Number 22 and 23 where Balak hired prophet Balaam to curse the children of Israel. Balak moved Balaam to different places to curse them and God said no matter where you positioned you can’t curse who God has blessed. Satan understands positioning. Eventually though, Balak found another way to curse the children of Israel. That was what Revelation 2:13-14 called the doctrine of Balaam. Such doctrine teaches that whom God has blessed can be cursed. He charged believers to stop thinking they are under a curse but rather believe that they’re new creatures in Christ.

Even when Balak, the king of Moab couldn’t curse the children of Israel, Satan didn’t end there. He traced the story of Moab back to his origin, which was Lot. Speaking of Lot, he was never God’s choice but because he positioned himself with Abraham, he got the blessings. Genesis 13:10

He mentioned that Canaan was not the inheritance God promised Abraham but was a position from where Abraham was meant to see the real inheritance. But it was not until after Lot left him that God asked Abraham to look as far as his eyes can see. Some of what you call destination is positioning.

He shared the testimony of his own journey. From when they had nothing, he kept saying they will go global and reach the nations of the world. Five years later, they got a call from TBN, Go-tv, Star-tv etc. He spoke to the congregations that Lagos and Wafbec is a positioning.

As you are praying, ask for something no man can find but it can find you. Some of us did not chase him, he found us in our way. Understand patterns so that things can position you.

Apostle Lubega told us the meaning of Ruth 1:2-3 Ruth means friendship. God wants to reconcile the seed of Lot and Abraham because Lot served Abraham. Ruth refusing to get back to Moab is positioning. Some of your problem is not generational curses, it’s lack of position.

In wrapping up, he read Ps 92:3 speaking of those that are planted in the house of God rather than those that jump from church to church. God is looking for men who have positioned themselves. True positioning qualifies you to be a seeker. Prayer is great, but it’s not enough to pray but to be correctly positioned. He led the congregation in prayer asking God to help us be in the right place at the right time.
