Day 5: Afternoon Session 1 with Pastor Efe Obuke

Day 5: Afternoon Session 1 with Pastor Efe Obuke

Pastor Efe began his session by sharing how he saw an Angel on the altar the last session he preached. According to him, “The Angel’s assignment was to ensure that all things the congregation had thought impossible and sealed, God had set to stir up and cause a movement to get them accomplished. This lifted the spirit of everyone in the auditorium.

His sermon was on the wisdom of the ants, coneys, locusts and spiders in Prov. 30:24. He explained how these four creatures of God display so much wisdom in the way they conduct their affairs. The truths he shared about them gave the congregation some level of understanding because of their excitement during his teaching.

He tied this teaching to the way God wants us to live in this new decade. “There’s a new lifestyle for us. Jumping from your senses into the Spirit. The Holy Spirit will take you where no man can take you. He is known as ‘Roak’ which means wind!”, he said.

He read from John 3:5- 7. He explained that a Christian’s life is a replica of the Holy Spirit once he or she is born again. “Your life is incomprehensible. The things men count as impossible, to a man who functions in the Spirit, they are just natural.”, he added referencing Luke 16:23.

He closed by encouraging everyone to function in the Spirit. “Cultivate your spirit man, feed on the word.”, he admonished. “Live your life so that it is free of the devil’s accusation. It’s is easy to get afflicted when your life is not right. Unforgiveness is also a hindrance. You must embrace the lifestyle of the Holy Spirit.”
