Dr. David Beebe in his afternoon session spoke on Speak the Same thing.
1Corinthians 1:9-10
Dr. Beebe started with a question, ’what would the local church be like if everyone was in agreement about the finances, the work God was doing and saying the same thing about them?’
God calls a man/woman and gives them a vision and calls others to help alongside because the vision He gives is always bigger than the one person. As workers we should be in agreement with our leaders…we should say the same thing.
It’s so important to be in unity in these last days.
Numbers 13:30,, 14:6-9, 24 & 28
It was recorded by the scriptures that the ten spies brought an evil report about the land they had gone to spy. It was so stated because they weren’t in agreement with God and what He had already said about the land to them. So any time we speak doubt and what’s contrary to the Word of God it’s evil before God.
2Corinthians 4:13, Hebrews 8, 3:1
On the other hand Joshua and Caleb had the spirit of faith! They got on God’s side and said what He said about the situation. Dr Beebe pointed out that Joshua was a type of Jesus and Caleb a type of the gentile church.
Thus a type of Christ and the church were in agreement and said the same thing! As believers our greatest agreement partner is God Himself. So the spirit of faith agrees with what the Word says and God brings to pass what His Word says.
It’s important to maintain faith within the church and time to turn that faith loose in corporate situations and change the world as a result.
